Auto-Approve Client PT Bookings

The outcome: clients book a 1:1 session that fits your availability, it lands on your calendar instantly. No more clients waiting for "yes, see you Friday" before they know their session is real, no more interrupting a class to tap Approve.

Off by default. Recurring bookings still need your explicit tap regardless. Conflicting slots are always blocked on the client portal up front, so they never reach your queue with or without this on.

Turn it on:

1. Open Business in the main navigation 2. Select the Booking tab 3. Scroll to Booking Policies & Conflict Override 4. Toggle Auto-Approve Client PT Bookings on 5. Tap Save Booking Policy

What confirms instantly:

A 1:1 PT booking that falls inside your availability with no other appointment overlap, no class clash, no buffer-time violation, and the client has whatever credits/entitlement is required. Everything else either gets blocked on the client portal (conflicts) or stays in Pending for your review (recurring, cross-trainer).

What you see when it fires:

A small "Booking auto-approved" toast on whatever page you're on. No Review button, the session is already on your calendar.

What the client sees:

"Booking confirmed, Fri May 8 at 9:12 AM, you're locked in." Session lands on their schedule the same second.

Recurring is excluded by design. A recurring booking commits a slot every week for months. The value of "yes, I confirm this" is much higher there, so those still go to your Recurring Requests queue. See Managing Appointments.

When it works well:

• Your availability windows are accurate and you'll happily take any booking that fits • You're often mid-session and don't want to break to tap Approve • You want clients to feel the booking was "instant"

When NOT to use this:

• You like saying "yes, see you Friday" personally, that touch matters to you • You frequently swap clients to a different time before confirming (use Smart Move on Pending Approvals instead) • Your availability is loose and you rely on the approval step to filter unsuitable times manually
