Group Class Check-In (Trainer Guide)

Managing Group Class Check-Ins:

Accessing Check-In Tools:

1. Dashboard Widget - "Class Check-In" widget shows today's classes 2. Quick Actions - Each class has two buttons: - QR Code - Generate self-service check-in QR code - Kiosk Mode - Open full-screen check-in interface

Using QR Code Check-In:

1. Click "QR Code" button for any class 2. A modal opens with the QR code displayed 3. Display this on a tablet, phone, or print it 4. Clients scan with their phone camera 5. They check themselves in (if booked) or register as drop-in 6. Check-in happens automatically - no staff needed!

Using Kiosk Mode (Staff Check-In):

1. Click "Kiosk Mode" button for any class 2. Full-screen interface opens (perfect for tablets) 3. Search for clients by name 4. Click "Check In" next to their name 5. See real-time stats: - Total capacity - Booked count - Checked in count - Drop-ins - Spots remaining

Class Check-In Widget Features:

Today's Classes - Shows all classes scheduled for today • Real-Time Stats - Capacity, bookings, check-ins update live • Time Display - Shows class start/end times • Location - Displays venue location if set • Status Indicators: - 🟢 Happening Now - Class is currently in session - ⏰ Upcoming - Class starts later today - ✅ Completed - Class has ended

Check-In Time Windows:

• Check-in opens 30 minutes before class start time • Check-in closes when class ends • Clients can check in early (up to 30 min before) • Drop-ins can register anytime during check-in window

Managing Drop-Ins:

• Drop-ins appear automatically when they scan QR code • They register with name, email, and optional phone • They appear in your Clients → Leads tab • You can invite them to become full clients later • Payment can be required (configured in Business settings)

Check-In Settings:

Go to Business → Check-In tab to configure: • Enable/disable drop-ins • Set default drop-in pricing • Choose first class free option • Adjust check-in time windows

Tips:

• Use QR code for self-service (reduces front desk workload) • Use Kiosk mode for staff-assisted check-ins • Monitor capacity in real-time • Follow up with drop-ins to convert to clients • Print QR codes for permanent display
