Connect Your Fitness Devices:
Build Stability integrates with popular fitness apps to automatically sync your workout data and provide comprehensive progress tracking.
Supported Apps:
• Strava ✅ - Connect your Strava account to sync running, cycling, and other activities • Garmin - Coming soon • Apple Health - Coming soon
How to Connect:
1. Click your profile icon in the top right 2. Select "Connections" from the dropdown menu 3. Click "Connect Fitness Apps" or "Manage Connected Apps" 4. Select the app you want to connect (e.g., Strava) 5. Authorize Build Stability to access your fitness data 6. Your activities will start syncing automatically (last 30 days on first connect)
What Gets Synced:
• Activity data (runs, rides, workouts, swims, etc.) • Heart rate data (average and max) - if available from your device • Calories burned • Duration and distance • Workout completion times and dates • Elevation gain • Activity metadata (location, weather, etc.)
Auto-Matching:
• System automatically matches synced activities to scheduled workout sessions • AI-powered time-matching finds the best match within ±30 minutes • High confidence matches (within 1 minute) automatically link activities to workouts • Deduplication prevents double-counting of workouts • Activities linked to your training plan workouts
Build Score Integration:
• Consistency Score (40%): Your Strava activities count as completed workouts, even without scheduled appointments. Activities from the last 30 days contribute fully, while older activities (31-90 days) receive partial credit. • Volume Score (20%): Each synced activity from the last 30 days contributes to your workout volume. Activities are found using a 90-day window to ensure nothing is missed. • Recovery Score (5%): Heart rate data from activities enriches recovery metrics • Streaks: Consecutive days with activities count toward your workout streak (up to 90 days of history). Includes workout sessions, PT appointments, group classes, and synced activities - all activity types contribute to your streak! • Automatic Updates: Score recalculates automatically after each sync • Holistic View: Combines plan workouts + external activities for complete picture • Strava-Only Users: Even if you have no logged workouts or scheduled appointments, your Strava activities alone can generate a Build Score based on activity frequency and consistency
Disconnecting Apps:
• Go to Connections (profile menu → Connections) • Click "Disconnect" next to the app you want to remove • Synced data remains in your history, but new activities won't sync • You can reconnect anytime
Privacy & Security:
• Only you and your trainer can see your activity data • Data is stored securely and encrypted • You control what apps are connected • Disconnect anytime without losing historical data • OAuth 2.0 secure authentication
Troubleshooting:
• "Connection failed" - Check your app account is active and accessible • "No activities syncing" - Initial sync includes last 30 days, then syncs new activities automatically • "Activities not matching" - System matches within ±30 minutes, adjust your workout times if needed • "Duplicate activities" - Our deduplication system prevents this, contact support if you see duplicates • "Build Score not updating" - Click the refresh icon (🔄) on the Build Score widget to force recalculation
