Does my smart trainer work with REPley Ride?

Almost every smart trainer does: REPley Ride controls trainers over Bluetooth FTMS, ANT+ FE-C, and Wi-Fi or Ethernet with Direct Connect. The page lists the fully supported trainers, the ones supported in beta, and the few that do not connect, with our promise if yours will not ride.

My trainer works with Zwift. Will it work with REPley Ride?

Yes. REPley Ride speaks the same standards Zwift does, Bluetooth FTMS and ANT+ FE-C, and Wahoo's own Bluetooth protocol for the first KICKR and KICKR SNAP. If a trainer on this page will not ride for you, we help, and refund what you have paid if we cannot get it riding.

Do I need an ANT+ stick?

No. Bluetooth is enough for nearly every trainer. An ANT+ USB stick is for a trainer whose Bluetooth has no FTMS, or a computer whose Bluetooth is unreliable.

REPley Ride controls a smart trainer over Bluetooth FTMS or ANT+ FE-C, the two open standards nearly every smart trainer since 2018 speaks, and over Wi-Fi or Ethernet with Direct Connect, on a Mac, Windows or Linux computer. If your trainer works with Zwift, it works here the same way. This page says which trainers are fully supported, which are supported in beta, and the few that do not connect, and what we promise if yours will not ride.

Fully supported

Ridden with REPley Ride, by us or by riders, on that radio. Supported in beta means the driver is built and the trainer speaks the same standard, and fewer riders have ridden it yet.

These speak the standards REPley Ride is built on, and the driver for each is in the app. We have not ridden every model ourselves yet, so the first riders on each tell us how it goes, and a trainer moves up to fully supported after its first rides. Every ride sends its connection record, never your power or heart rate, and the app offers a setup report from Your bike.

What does not connect

Basic trainers and rollers with no electronics, and trainers that only measure power without setting resistance
REPley Ride sets the resistance for every climb and workout. You can still ride the simulator to look around.
Smart bikes that are not trainers (Peloton, for example) and treadmills
REPley Ride is a bike app for smart trainers.
Separate power meters and cadence sensors
Power and cadence come from the trainer. A heart-rate strap, Bluetooth or ANT+, is the one extra sensor.

Our promise

Every trainer on this page should ride. The 14-day trial needs no card, so you can try yours before you pay anything. If your trainer is on this page and it will not ride once you have paid, write to us within 30 days of paying, with the setup report the app offers from Your bike, and we work through it with you; most problems are fixed in one email. If we cannot get your trainer riding, we refund what you have paid for REPley Ride. The one thing outside our reach is other software on your computer that blocks the app, and we will say so if that is what the report shows.

When a trainer will not connect

Nearly every case is one of four: another app still has the trainer (close Zwift and the maker's app), firmware too old for Bluetooth control (one update in the maker's app), an ANT+ stick without its Windows driver, or Bluetooth that is off or not allowed.
