Troubleshooting Branding Issues
Quick Fixes for Common Issues:
Issue: Branding Not Saving
If you click Save but your branding doesn't persist: 1. Check your browser console for errors (F12 > Console tab) 2. Verify you have admin or super admin role 3. Try refreshing the page and saving again 4. Ensure your logo file is under 500KB 5. Try a different browser if the issue persists
Issue: Logo Not Displaying
If your logo uploaded but isn't showing: 1. Verify the logo file size is under 500KB 2. Use PNG or JPG format only (no GIF, SVG, or other formats) 3. Try uploading a different logo to test 4. Hard refresh your browser (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows) 5. Check if the logo appears in the branding settings preview
Issue: Logo Not Visible in Dark Mode
If your logo disappears when switching to dark mode: 1. Your logo likely has a white or very light background 2. Solution: Use a logo with transparent background and dark/colorful elements 3. Or: Edit your logo to include a border or darker elements 4. Test: Switch to dark mode before finalizing your logo choice
Issue: Color Not Applying
If you select a color but it doesn't show on pages: 1. Verify the color is saved (check branding settings) 2. Note: Brand color only applies when you have a logo uploaded 3. Hard refresh your browser to clear cache 4. Check you're viewing the correct business (if you have multiple) 5. Try selecting a different color to test
Issue: Font Not Rendering
If your selected font doesn't appear: 1. Verify the font is saved in branding settings 2. Hard refresh your browser (Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R) 3. Check that Google Fonts are loading (Network tab in browser dev tools) 4. Try a different font to test 5. Note: Font only applies to your business name, not all text
Issue: Changes Not Showing for Clients
If you see the changes but clients don't: 1. Changes apply immediately, but clients may have cached pages 2. Ask clients to hard refresh their browser 3. Or: Wait 24 hours for caches to expire naturally 4. Mobile apps may take longer to update 5. Email Branding - Email branding updates apply to new emails immediately. Existing emails already sent will not change.
