Understanding the No-Show Policy
No-Show Tracking for Group Classes:
To ensure fair access to popular classes, trainers may track no-shows and take action for repeated occurrences.
What Counts as a No-Show:
• You're booked for a class • The class start time passes • Your trainer marks you as "No Show"
What Doesn't Count:
• Cancellations made before the cancellation window • Sessions cancelled by your trainer • Classes you weren't booked for
How Tracking Works:
• No-shows are counted within a rolling window (typically 30 days) • After a certain number of no-shows, you may receive a warning • If no-shows continue, booking may be temporarily blocked
Typical Thresholds (vary by trainer):
• 2 no-shows: Warning notification • 4 no-shows: Temporary booking block (usually 7 days) • After the block period: Counter resets, you can book again
Why This Policy Exists:
• Prevents "spot hoarding" in popular classes • Ensures clients who attend can get spots • Encourages accountability • Protects trainer revenue from repeated no-shows
What To Do If Blocked:
Wait for the block period to end, or contact your trainer to discuss your situation. Life happens, and most trainers are understanding of legitimate circumstances.
Pro Tip:
If you can't make a class, cancel as early as possible. Even cancelling inside the window (by contacting your trainer) is better than not showing up.
