In-Session Exercise Guide
See What's Next for Any Client:
Ask the AI Assistant "What's next for [client]?" or "Show me [client]'s workout today" to get a full breakdown of their current session.
What You'll See:
Results appear in a visual Exercise Widget card directly in the chat: • Exercise list — All exercises for today's session in order, with check/circle icons • Targets — Sets × reps @ RPE for each exercise in a compact layout • Logged status — Completed exercises are checked off and shown with strikethrough • Last performance — Previous session's RPE, notes, and any failure data for comparison • Progress badge — e.g., "3/6 In Progress" with color-coded status • Program context — Day name and current week number in the header • Quick actions — "Progression" button to get AI-powered suggestions, plus a link to the client's program
Example Questions:
• "What's next for Sarah?" — Today's session exercises • "Show me Jake's workout today" — Same thing, different phrasing • "What exercises does Lisa have tomorrow?" — Plan ahead • "Show me Sarah's workout on 2026-02-20" — Check a specific date
How It Works:
The assistant looks up the client's active assigned program, finds the workout session for the requested date, and fetches all exercises from the program template. It cross-references logged exercises to show completion status, and calls the exercise history function to show last performance for each exercise.
If No Session Exists:
If the client doesn't have a session scheduled for that date, the assistant will tell you when their next pending session is. If they don't have an active program at all, you'll get a link to assign one.
