Checking Email Spam Settings

How to Check Spam Settings for Common Email Providers:

Gmail:

1. Open Gmail in your web browser 2. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right 3. Click "See all settings" 4. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab 5. Check if there are any filters blocking "buildstability.com" or "onboarding@buildstability.com" 6. Go to the "Spam" folder (left sidebar) 7. Search for "buildstability" or "password reset" 8. If you find the email, mark it as "Not spam" 9. To prevent future filtering: - Open the email - Click the three dots menu (⋮) - Select "Filter messages like this" - Choose "Never send it to Spam"

Outlook/Hotmail:

1. Sign in to Outlook.com 2. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right 3. Click "View all Outlook settings" 4. Go to "Mail" → "Junk email" 5. Check "Safe senders and domains" - add "buildstability.com" if needed 6. Check "Blocked senders" - remove "buildstability.com" if it's there 7. Go to your Junk Email folder 8. Search for emails from "buildstability.com" 9. Right-click the email and select "Mark as not junk"

Apple Mail (iCloud):

1. Sign in to iCloud.com 2. Open Mail 3. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the bottom left 4. Click "Preferences" → "Rules" 5. Check if any rules are filtering Build Stability emails 6. Go to the Junk folder 7. Find the Build Stability email and mark it as "Not Junk" 8. To add to VIPs (always deliver): - Open the email - Click the star icon next to the sender - This marks them as a VIP

Yahoo Mail:

1. Sign in to Yahoo Mail 2. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right 3. Click "More Settings" 4. Go to "Security and privacy" 5. Check "Filters" for any rules blocking Build Stability 6. Go to the Spam folder 7. Find the Build Stability email 8. Click "Not Spam" button 9. To whitelist the sender: - Open the email - Click the three dots menu (⋮) - Select "Add to contacts"

Microsoft 365/Exchange:

1. Sign in to Outlook (web or desktop) 2. Go to Settings → Mail → Junk email 3. Check "Blocked senders" - remove "buildstability.com" if present 4. Add "buildstability.com" to "Safe senders" 5. Check your Junk Email folder 6. Right-click Build Stability emails and select "Mark as not junk"

ProtonMail:

1. Sign in to ProtonMail 2. Go to Settings → Filters 3. Check if any filters are blocking Build Stability emails 4. Go to Spam folder 5. Find the email and click "Not spam" 6. To create a filter: - Settings → Filters → Add filter - Set condition: "Sender contains buildstability.com" - Action: "Never send to Spam"

General Tips for All Email Providers:

• Add "onboarding@buildstability.com" to your contacts/address book • Mark Build Stability emails as "Not spam" or "Important" • Check spam folders regularly (some providers have multiple) • Look for emails in "Promotions" or "Updates" tabs (Gmail) • Check if your email has a "Quarantine" or "Held Messages" section • Some corporate email systems have additional spam filters - contact your IT department

Mobile Email Apps:

• Check spam/junk folders in your mobile email app • Some apps have separate "Blocked" or "Filtered" sections • Look in "All Mail" or "Archive" folders • Try searching for "buildstability" or "password reset" • Add the sender to your contacts to prevent future filtering

If Emails Still Don't Arrive:

• Check with your email provider's support • Some corporate/enterprise email systems block all automated emails • Consider using a personal email address for your account • Contact Build Stability support for alternative account recovery options
