Password Reset Troubleshooting

How to Reset Your Password:
1. Go to the login page at https://buildstability.com/login 2. Click "Forgot your password?" link below the login form 3. Enter your email address (must match your account exactly) 4. Click "Send reset link" 5. Check your email inbox for the reset email 6. Click the link in the email (expires after 1 hour) 7. Enter your new password (must meet requirements) 8. Confirm your new password 9. Click "Update password" 10. You'll be redirected to login - use your new password
"I didn't receive the reset email"
Step 1: Check Spam/Junk Folder
• Password reset emails are sent from our verified domain (onboarding@buildstability.com) • Look for emails from "Build Stability" or "Team" with subject "Reset Your Build Stability Password" • Check all spam/junk folders (some providers have multiple) • Gmail users: Check "Promotions" and "Updates" tabs in addition to spam

Step 3: Verify Email Address
• Make sure you entered the exact email address used for your account • Check for typos (common mistakes: .com vs .co, gmail vs gmil) • Try the email address you received invitation emails at
Step 4: Wait and Retry
• Emails can take 1-5 minutes to arrive • Wait at least 5 minutes before requesting another reset • Request a new reset link if the first one expired (links expire after 1 hour)
Step 5: Check Email Filters
• Some email providers have aggressive spam filters • Check if your email has a "Blocked Senders" or "Filtered" folder • Look for any rules that might be moving emails automatically
"Reset link expired" • Password reset links expire after 1 hour for security • Simply request a new reset link from the login page • Make sure to check your email and click the link within 1 hour
"Reset link doesn't work" • Make sure you clicked the link within 1 hour of receiving it • Try copying the entire link and pasting it into your browser • Clear your browser cache and cookies • Try using a different browser or incognito/private mode • Make sure you're using the link from the most recent reset email
"I can't create a new password" • Your new password must meet all requirements: - Minimum 8 characters (maximum 128) - At least one lowercase letter (a-z) - At least one uppercase letter (A-Z) - At least one number (0-9) - At least one special character (!@#$%^&*()_+-=[]{}|;:,.<>?) • Make sure both password fields match exactly • Check that the password field isn't showing an error message • Try a different password that meets all requirements
