Save as Copy (Templates with Active Clients)

When you edit a template that has active clients on it, the Save toolbar shows three options:

• Save & Update — saves the changes AND updates assigned clients (opens the Smart Bulk Push flow, see "Updating Assigned Clients") • Save as Copy — saves your edits as a brand new template; the original stays exactly as it was, and existing clients keep their current plan • Save — when there are no active clients, just saves the template

When to use Save as Copy:

• Building a v2 of a popular plan but you don't want to disturb clients halfway through v1 • Customising a template for a specific client without losing your reusable original • Forking a Repley-generated plan to make heavier modifications

The new copy inherits the original's Repley/Manual badge, so a Save as Copy of a Repley plan stays Repley until you edit its exercises.
