§ 01 / THE PROMISE

Cancel anytime.
Keep your access.
Change your mind if you want.

The PT software industry has a cancellation problem. Hidden buttons. Mandatory phone calls. Surprise charges two months after you quit. We wrote this page because we do the opposite, and we want it on the record.

§ 02/THE THREE PROMISES

Three things every SaaS should do, but most do not.

01

Cancel in 1 click.

Directly from your Business settings page. No support ticket. No phone call. No "customer success" meeting. If you want out, you are out in 30 seconds.

02

Keep access until the end of your period.

No immediate lockouts. Your programs, schedules, payments, and client portal all keep working until the billing period you already paid for ends. Export what you need on your schedule.

03

Changed your mind? Undo in 1 click.

Reverse a pending cancellation any time before the period ends. No re-entering card details. No new contract. Your subscription just continues.

§ 03/WHY WE WROTE THIS PAGE

The PT software industry has a reputation for a reason.

We are not going to name names. We have seen enough forum posts, help-desk chats, and legal disputes across the category to know the pattern is not about one company. The pattern is structural.

SaaS companies are rewarded, internally, for making cancellation slow. Every extra step costs the customer one more moment of regret and the vendor one more chance to save the account. Multiply that across an industry and you get what PT software has become.

We built BuildStability because we think the trust you earn by making cancellation easy is worth more, over ten years, than the two months of stalled cancellations you extract by making it hard.

So: this page is a promise. If we ever make cancellation harder than what you read above, point to this URL and we will have to explain ourselves.

§ 05/QUESTIONS

Cancellation FAQ

Do I have to call support to cancel my BuildStability subscription?

No. Cancellation is a single click inside your Business settings page. No support ticket, no phone call, no mandatory exit interview. The same account owner who started the subscription can end it in under 30 seconds.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You keep full access until the end of your current billing period, which gives you time to export programs, client records, payment history, and session notes. After that, data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate, then deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

Can I undo a cancellation if I change my mind?

Yes. Any time before your billing period ends, you can reverse a pending cancellation in one click from the same Business page. No re-entering card details, no new contract. Your subscription simply continues.

Will I be charged again after cancelling?

No. When you cancel, the subscription is set to end at the current period. You will not be charged for the next cycle, and no prorated fees are added. You keep the service you already paid for until that date.

Do you keep charging me after I cancel, like some competitors?

No. BuildStability uses Stripe cancel_at_period_end so your subscription cleanly stops at the paid-through date. If a charge appears after cancellation, it is almost certainly a Stripe Connect payment from a client. Contact support and we will investigate.

Can my clients still access their accounts while I am in the cancellation grace period?

Yes. Client portal access continues through the end of your billing period, so their programs, schedules, and payment history stay intact. Once the period ends, the client portal is archived with the rest of your business data.
