Is TrueCoach still better for video-based coaching?
Yes, for daily async video coaching. TrueCoach was built around client-uploaded form-check videos with trainer async feedback and that is still the workflow it leads on. BuildStability lets trainers attach demo videos to exercises in the library, but we do not ship a client-upload / async video-feedback loop. If your entire coaching model runs on daily video in, daily video out, pick TrueCoach. If you mostly train in-person and use software for programs, scheduling, and billing, BuildStability is the better fit.
Can I migrate my TrueCoach client list to BuildStability?
Yes. Export your TrueCoach client list as CSV and import it via BuildStability Settings. Program templates need to be rebuilt, but the AI program builder can recreate most periodised plans faster than manual rebuild.
Does BuildStability handle payments like TrueCoach does?
Yes, and this is a real difference. TrueCoach does not process client payments at all, so TrueCoach trainers run billing through a separate tool. BuildStability uses Stripe Connect: you connect your own Stripe account via OAuth, and your clients pay into your Stripe balance directly. BuildStability takes zero platform commission on top. You pay only Stripe’s standard processing fee (around 1.75% + 30c for domestic AU cards). Setup requires a one-off Stripe onboarding, after which invoices, receipts, payouts, and refunds all flow through your own Stripe dashboard.
