How much does Mindbody cost vs BuildStability?
Mindbody's Australian pricing page (checked 18 July 2026) lists Go at A$89, Core at A$279, and Growth at A$369 per month, per location, with the feature set changing by tier. The US lineup is named differently: Starter from US$79/month per Mindbody's own pricing blog, with Accelerate and Ultimate unpublished (independent estimates run US$259 to US$699). BuildStability Pro is A$99/mo for up to 100 clients, and the feature list is identical on every tier, so you never price-ladder into the features you actually need.
Does Mindbody charge commissions on client payments?
Mindbody Payments takes a per-transaction percentage on top of your subscription fee. BuildStability uses Stripe Connect: your own Stripe account, standard Stripe processing fees, zero platform commission on top.
Is BuildStability a good Mindbody alternative for a Pilates or yoga studio?
Up to the 250 clients on Pro+, our largest plan, yes. BuildStability includes class scheduling, capacity with waitlists, QR check-in, memberships and class packs, and branded client portal, all included at the starting tier. Mindbody is still the better choice for large franchises running retail POS or needing the Mindbody marketplace for client discovery.
Can I migrate my Mindbody client list to BuildStability?
Yes, and you can do it at your own pace. For your client list, export it as a CSV from Mindbody or copy the rows out of a spreadsheet, and import it on the Clients page. Importing emails nobody, so you invite clients when you are ready. For your programs, you do not have to rebuild from scratch: add the PDFs, photos or spreadsheets you have to the program importer, and it reads them and shows you what it found before anything is saved. A program you have as text can be pasted into REPley and saved exactly as written. See Migrating from another platform for the order to do it in. If you process payments through Stripe with your own dashboard access, connect your Stripe account and import your products, customers and active subscriptions. Saved cards stay on Stripe, so your clients are not asked to re-enter card details.
Does BuildStability handle GST and Australian tax invoices like Mindbody?
Better. BuildStability was built in Australia. GST is calculated and displayed on every invoice, ABN is shown, and BAS-ready reports can be exported. Mindbody is a US platform where GST compliance is a manual add-on.
How hard is it to cancel Mindbody compared to BuildStability?
