Sign In with Apple & Google

How to Use Social Sign-In:

For Trainers (App Owners):

1. Go to the login page or signup page 2. Click "Continue with Apple" or "Continue with Google" 3. Authenticate with your Apple ID or Google account 4. You're in! Your account is linked to that sign-in method

For Clients (Invited Users):

1. Click the invitation link from your trainer's email 2. On the account creation page, choose Apple or Google sign-in 3. Important: Use the same email that received the invitation 4. Complete the onboarding wizard to access your training portal

"Last Used" Badge:

After your first sign-in, we remember which method you used. Look for the "Last used" badge to quickly identify your preferred login method.

Which Should I Use - Apple or Google?

Apple Sign-In - Best for iPhone/iPad users who prioritize privacy. Apple's "Hide My Email" feature lets you keep your real email address private. • Google Sign-In - Best if you already use Google Workspace or Gmail. Works great across all devices and browsers.

Troubleshooting:

"Email mismatch" error (Clients only) When accepting an invitation, you must use the same email that received the invitation. If your Apple/Google account uses a different email, use password signup instead or ask your trainer to re-invite you at your Apple/Google email.

"Sign-in cancelled" or popup closed Simply try again. This happens if you closed the popup before completing sign-in.

"Apple Sign-In not working" • On iOS: Make sure you're signed into your Apple ID in Settings • On web: Apple Sign-In requires Safari or a popup-enabled browser • Check that popups are allowed for buildstability.com

"Google Sign-In not working" • Clear your browser cache and cookies • Disable browser extensions that might block popups • Try incognito/private mode • Make sure third-party cookies are enabled

Already have an account with email/password?

You can add social sign-in at any time. On the login page, tap "Continue with Apple" or "Continue with Google" using the same email address as your existing account. The system automatically detects the matching email and links the social identity to your account. After linking, both methods work — your password is not removed. Your profile, memberships, and all data stay exactly the same.

Email Matching for Invited Clients:

When accepting a trainer invitation, the email on your Apple or Google account must match the email that received the invitation. This is checked for security. If they do not match, you will see an "email mismatch" error. To resolve this: use password signup with the invited email (you can add social sign-in later), or ask your trainer to re-invite you at your Apple or Google email. To find which email was invited, search your inbox for an email from "buildstability" or your trainer's business name.

Security Notes:

• We never access your Apple/Google password • Only your email and name are shared with Build Stability • You can remove social sign-in access in your Apple ID or Google Account settings • Session tokens are securely stored and encrypted • Trainer and client invitations use completely separate systems — different tokens, tables, and routes
